Life Finally moved to a warmer, sunnier climate. Yay! I am retired! I am a summer person and pretty much lived on the water (in boats on Lake Ontario) for 25 summers of my life before my divorce. I miss crossing the lake to go to the Thousand Islands, Toronto, etc. and vacationing in our "floating cottage" with my ex and my three beautiful daughters. I even took 11 of those summers off from work to spend the time with my girls and enjoy their growing up. My youngest and I hang out in our backyard pool now instead of on the boat. But it's a great yard, and we enjoy it. The summers are just too short in Rochester. I worked at Xerox Corp. for over 30 years, and lastly as an Administrative Operations Manager at Xerox Capital Services, LLC, which is a joint venture formed in May of 2002 between Xerox Corporation and General Electric (GE) Capital. I managed a group of people that maintain pricing and contract information for Xerox order and billing systems, covering equipment, service and supplies. Doesn't sound particularly exciting, but getting involved in systems enhancements, requirements, testing and problem solving kept it fairly...Expand for more
